CALLING ALL SCREENWRITERS
Collaborative Film Project

• Do you want to know how professional Hollywood screenwriters write?
• Do you want to know how to make the second act look easy?
• Do you want to know how to write commercial movies that audiences will actually want to see?
• Would you like to be a C0-WRITER on a produced movie?

If you answered YES to all of these questions, then we can show you how

This twelve-week course is not only designed to show you how to write a Hollywood-style genre movie - but Whitelight Productions will also produce it in 2012.

This course is only available to seven dedicated screenwriters who want to advance their skills - and possibly their careers.

What's the catch? The catch is you will be required to work collaboratively with other writers, you will need to attend a two-hour class once a week (dates to be confirmed), you will need to be able to take notes, do homework, and, as this is a film that will go into production, you will need to sign contracts.

Call for films

Hive Television (Hivetelevision) is calling for finished films of any genre - documentary, readings, short films - to view on the Hive Television site, and to run at our dinner and film nights.

The Film and Television Hive Box Hill 'Hivetelevision' is proud to offer the following classes run by both a Hollywood-trained and produced screenwriter/actor and a feature film director - 2 experts for the price on one. Most sessions are two hours.

Synopsis/one sheet
Learn how to write a punchy synopsis or attention- grabbing one-sheet summary of your novel, anthology, non-fiction project, play or film script.

Pitching Logline
Learn how to pitch your work, be it film script or book. Learn how to hit the target audience, and develop catchy one-liners - more info to follow

Acting to Camera including DVD of your work
Learn camera techniques, what works with cameras and how to to it.
Includes a DVD of your acting experience - more info to follow

Prep for Audition including DVD of your audition
Learn how to prepare for auditions, audition in front of a camera with the best help and instruction available. Includes a DVD of your audition - more info to follow

Quick Flick Club - Short Film Focus Group `Get your shorts on screen`
Want the opportunity to show your short film to peers and interested viewers?
4-8  short films (depending on length) will be screened at each screening.
$10.00 entry fee includes light snacks and a glass of wine on arrival. Dinner available.
